O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the third respondent to consider his representation dated 30.08.2024 seeking issuance of patta in his name in respect of the property situated in very very old No.4A, very old door no.51, old No.254 and new no.256, Chellappa Mudali Streeet, Kosapet, Choolai, Chennai 600 112 in survey No.2862/9 part.

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he acquired right over the above mentioned property under registered settlement deed executed by his father dated 23.08.2007. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 30.08.2024 seeking issuance of patta in his name and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 2/4

4. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has to submit a proper on-line application along with necessary charges seeking issuance of patta and the same will be considered, on merits, in accordance with law.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the petitioner to file a fresh on-line application seeking issuance of patta in his name and pay necessary charges within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. On filing of such application by the petitioner within a stipulated time, the third respondent would consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits, after issuing necessary notice to all the interested parties within a period of six weeks thereafter.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
