Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 5th respondent herein to provide police protection to the respondents 2 to 4 to survey and demarcate the boundary of petitioner's land comprised in Survey Nos. 443/9, 446/5, 445/12 situated at Anginayappalli, Oppathavadi Village, Burgoor Taluk, Krishnagiri District in view of the petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2024 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the fifth respondent herein to provide police protection to the respondents 2 to 4 to survey and demarcate the boundary of petitioner's land comprised

in Survey Nos. 443/9, 446/5, 445/12 situated at Anginayappalli, Oppathavadi Village, Burgoor Taluk, Krishnagiri District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 5th respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, if the revenue authorities, while surveying the property comprised in Survey Nos. 443/9, 446/5, 445/12 situated at Anginayappalli, Oppathavadi Village, Burgoor Taluk, Krishnagiri District as requested by the petitioner, found any obstructions from neighbours or others, they can very well approach the concerned jurisdictional police seeking police protection. On such request, the fifth respondent is directed to consider the same and provide police protection to survey the petitioner's land.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands

disposed of. No costs.
