Mr.A.Edwin Prabhakar, State Government Pleader, assisted by Mr.Karthik Jegannath, Government Advocate, for respondents 1 to 5 COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) WP No.32798 of 2024 is filed seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, for removal of encroachment.

2. It appears that the official respondents proceeded to take action against the alleged encroachers and the proceedings culminated in passing of an order dated 27.11.2024, under Section 10 of the

Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, by the District Collector.

3. The fourth respondent in WP No.32798 of 2024 - Dayalan, has filed WP No.35728 of 2024, aggrieved by the notice sent by the Revenue Inspector, under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act.

3.1. During the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner in WP No.35728 of 2024 would submit that now the petitioner has preferred a revision under Section 10A of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, against the order passed by the District Collector, dated 27.11.2024.

4. In view of the aforesaid disclosure made before this Court, the petition filed by Mr.C.Dayalan in WP No.35728 of 2024 is disposed of, leaving him to pursue the revision pending before the revisional authority.

5. In view of the order passed by the District Collector, WP No.32798 of 2024 also stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP No.38587 of 2024 is closed.

6. WMP No.38583 of 2024 filed to allow the petitioners to file a single writ petition is allowed.
