Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to effect electricity service to the petitioner's land comprised in Survey No.274/1 situated at E.Nallakoundapaalayam Village, Namakkal District, as per their letter dated 30.10.2010.

Heard Mr.K.Sasindran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.K.Raameshuwar, learned Standing Counsel, accepting notice on behalf of respondents. With the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the second respondent to effect electricity service connection to his land comprised in Survey No.274/1 situated at E.Nallakoundapaalayam Village, Namakkal District, as per letter of the first respondent dated 30.10.2010. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. The petitioner would state that he has given an application, seeking electricity service connection to his land, to the first respondent and the first respondent, by communication dated 30.10.2010, directed the petitioner to purchase a motor and report before the first respondent on or before 31.11.2010. The petitioner would further state that he has complied with the said condition. However, the relevant documents have not been enclosed in the typed-set of paper.
4. In any event, there is a representation pending before the first respondent, which is said to have been submitted on 30.01.2016 and the same has been received in the Office of the first respondent on 03.02.2016, as could be seen from the postal acknowledgment card.
5. In the light of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, there will be a direction to the respondent concerned to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.01.2016, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
