This Petition has been filed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" along with the report sent by the learned I Additional Subordinate Judge, Cuddalore, Chief Judicial Magistrate (F.A.C) Cuddalore District in D.No.1880 of 2020 dated 16.10.2020.

It is seen from the records that while disposing the petition in Crl.O.P.No.27646 of 2019, this Court by an order dated 17.03.2020, directed the trial Court to complete the trial proceedings in C.C.No.619 of 2019, within a period of twelve weeks. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Cuddalore, has sent a communication dated 14.10.2020 in D.No.497 of 2020, narrating the sequence of proceedings in C.C.No.619 of 2019 and sought further period of three months time to complete the trial in the said case. 3.
