PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 3rd respondent herein to remove the petitioner's name from the history sheet bearing H.S No.05/K3PS/16 maintained by him pursuant to the representation dated 18.10.2022. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent herein to remove the petitioner's name from the history sheet bearing H.S No.05/K3PS/16 maintained by him pursuant to the representation dated 18.10.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is included as a history sheeter by the fourth respondent police and hence the petitioner has given a representation dated 18.10.2022 to the third respondent to consider the same and remove him from the history sheet list. 2/4

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the representation given by the petitioner is under consideration; after collecting the pending cases against the petitioner, appropriate orders will be passed by the third respondent.

4. Since the petitioner has given his representation as early as on 18.10.2022, I feel it is appropriate to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation within a time frame.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.10.2022 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 21.11.2022 Index : Yes/No Speaking Order : Yes / No bkn 3/4
