PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 3rd respondent herein to remove the petitioner's name from the history sheet bearing H.S No.05/K3PS/16 maintained by him pursuant to the representation dated 18.10.2022. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent herein to remove the petitioner's name from the history sheet bearing H.S No.05/K3PS/16 maintained by him pursuant to the representation dated 18.10.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is included as a history sheeter by the fourth respondent police and hence the petitioner has given a representation dated 18.10.2022 to the third respondent to consider the same and remove him from the history sheet list. 2/4

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the representation given by the petitioner is under consideration; after collecting the pending cases against the petitioner, appropriate orders will be passed by the third respondent.

4. Since the petitioner has given his representation as early as on 18.10.2022, I feel it is appropriate to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation within a time frame.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.10.2022 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 21.11.2022 Index : Yes/No Speaking Order : Yes / No bkn 3/4
