History sheeter is facing 9 cases and few case in Karnataka is before this Court not to harass.
2. According to the petitioner, he is facing surveillance in two murder case for retaliation, two harm cases and a few more cases of lesser gravity. He alleges that the police frequently visit his house and disturb his peace and tranquility.
3. This Court is conscious of the fact that the individual has a right of life and liberty and it cannot be curtailed. However, the history sheeter who has multiple case against him both in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka needs surveillance not only to watch his activity but also to protect him from rival groups. Therefore, this Court finds that the allegation made against the Deputy Superintendent of Police amount to interference in his lawful discharge of duty. Therefore, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed.
