This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in Spl.C.C.No. 54 of 2022 on the file of the Special judge for EC/NDPS Act Cases, Salem.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the respondent police seized 365 kgs of Ganja from the accused. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits based the petitioner has been implicated in this case and also the investigation has been completed. Hence, he prays to allow this petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that contraband seized from the petitioner is commercial quantity and also the trial is at stage of framing of charges. Hence, he raised objection to grant bail.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the contraband seized from the petitioner is commercial quantity. Hence, I am not inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. However, the Trial Court is directed to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible.
