ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to carry out corrections in the revenue records with regard to the extent of the property shown in the records.

Heard Mr.I.Siddiq, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Tamizharasan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

The learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions submitted that the second respondent has already taken cognizance of the application presented by the petitioner. However, the petitioner is not appearing for enquiry and therefore, the respondent is not in a position to take a decision.

In view of the above stand taken by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the second respondent is directed to intimate the next date of hearing to the petitioner by way of notice and the petitioner shall be present before the second respondent for enquiry. Considering the claim made by the petitioner and the relevant documents submitted by the petitioner, the second respondent shall pass final orders within a period of four weeks thereafter.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
