Raja v. State Rep.By
fCrl.O.P.No.24112 of 2023 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.
The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 11.08.2023 for the offences punishable under Section 9(f)(m) r/w 10 of POCSO Act, 2012 in Crime No.8 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2.The petitioner was working as a Headmaster in Panchatat Union Primary School, Karungallur, Salem District. The defacto complainant had given a complaint that the petitioner was compelling the victim girl to squeeze his hands and legs. The 164 Cr.P.C., statement of the victim girl had been recorded and had been forwarded to this Court. 3.It would only be appropriate that the trial is conducted and the statement recorded in Court and the evidence of the child is completed. At this stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. 18.10.2023 smv 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
