ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to dispose of the representation, dated 10.03.2015 within a time frame.
2. In the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition, it is averred by the petitioner that he is one of the joint owner of the property situated at Melakondaiyur Village, Tiruvallur Taluk, Tiruvallur District, in Survey No.266/3, measuring an extent of 0.49 cents and Survey No.266/4A of an extent of 0.33 cents, totally ad-measuring an extent of 0.82 cents, having purchased the same by virtue of a registered sale deed, dated 07.02.2011 in Doc.No.990 of 2011 for sale consideration of Rs.1,23,000/- ; patta has also been issued and the Revenue Records were mutated in the petitioner's name. The petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the said property with his family. It is the grievance of the petitioner that manual patta issued by the respondent reflected two Survey Nos.266/3 and 266/4A. However, on verification with the Online patta services of the Government of Tamil Nadu, the petitioner found that the patta generated reflects only one Survey No.266/3 and does not reflect Survey No.266/4A. Hence, the petitioner made a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
representation, dated 10.03.2015 to the respondent, with necessary documents and since the said representation is pending, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for the above relief.
3. Heard both sides.
4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer made in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the said representation, dated 10.03.2015 of the petitioner and after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and necessary parties, pass appropriate orders and dispose of the said representation, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above observations and directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
