ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondent to produce the person or body of the petitioner's father, namely, Perumal, aged about 67 years before this Court and to set him at liberty, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

2. The detenu, who is the father of the petitioner, is stated to be missing from 21.01.2019. The petitioner gave a man missing complaint on 31.01.2019.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the detenu has left on his own as per the preliminary inquiry. However, further investigation is on.

4. In such view of the matter, we do not want to keep this matter pending any longer and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. However, the investigation shall go on and as and when the detenu is secured, he should be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate.
