Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to survey the land in S.Nos.31/2A1B and 38/4A3, Patta No.439, Saluvankuppam Village, Pattipulam Grama Panchayat, Tiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District, based on the online application dated 26.06.2025, within the time fixed by this Court. 1/6

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to survey and fix the boundary stones for the subject land.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the owner of the subject property by virtue of a registered sale deed dated 15.12.2024. Since then she has been in possession and enjoyment of the said property. While so, some land grabbers were trying to grab the property with the help of fabricated documents. Therefore, based on the said sale deed, she made an online application on 26.06.2025 and has also paid necessary charges. The said application was acknowledged vide petition No.2025/0123/35/009907.

However, the survey and the 2/6

measurement of the land has not been done. Hence, this writ petition.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would request this Court to grant 4 weeks time to consider and dispose of the application made by the petitioner.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent and also perused the materials available on record.

5. The petitioner had purchased the subject property vide the sale deed dated 15.12.2024. Based on said sale deed, she made an online application on 26.06.2025 to survey and fix boundary stones for the subject land. However, there is no action on the side of the respondent.

6. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent to 3/6

consider the petitioner's application dated 26.06.2025 and survey and fix boundary stones at the petitioner's land, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If there is any obstruction in the process of surveying and fixing boundary stones at the subject land, the respondent is at liberty to approach the Jurisdictional Police Station, who shall provide all necessary assistance to the respondent till the completion of process.

7. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
