The petitioner, who is a petty shop owner, found in possession of 2 kgs of banned tobacco products worth Rs.4,000/- and was arrested on 24.07.2025. Dr.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police, opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner, stating that the investigation is not yet completed, as the chemical analysis report is awaited. He further submitted that the petitioner is involved in 8 previous cases of a similar nature.
3. Considering the nature of the offence and the propensity of the petitioner to commit the same offence to let out on bail, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
