Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari Mandamus, Calling for the records relating to the impugned order of the 2nd Respondent issued in Proceedings No.P/2014-4 dated 17.03.2014 and the consequential order passed by the 1st Respondent issued in Na.Ka.No.7221/2014/Sa.Pa.1 dated 09.12.2015 and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd Respondent to issue document to the petitioner for Plot No.36.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition challenging the impugned order, dated 9.12.2015 passed by the second respondent.

2 The learned Additional Govt. Pleader would submit that the impugned order has been passed by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies (Housing). The petitioner has revisional remedy before the Government under Section 153 of the Tamilnadu https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Cooperative Societies Act.

3 In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Govt. Pleader, the writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of the India is not maintainable before this Court since there is efficacious alternative remedy available under Section 153 of the Tamilnadu Cooperative Societies Act. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file revision under Section 153 of the Tamilnadu Cooperative Societies Act, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
