This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the trial Court namely the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, at Alandur, Chennai to dispose of the case in C.C. No.209 of 2019 as expeditiously as possible.
2. The petitioner is the sole accused on the case in C.C. No.209 of 2019 pending on the file of Judicial Magistrate-II,Alandur, Chennai.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that despite the case has been taken on file in the year 2019, still the matter stands posted for trial.
4. On a perusal of the e-Court adjudication, it is seen that the matter has reached stage of trial as early as on 23.09.2018 but, summons have not been issued to the witnesses. Since the matter is pending for a very long time and charges have also been framed, I feel it is appropriate to impress the Judicial Magistrate-II, Alandur, Chennai to dispose the case within a time frame.

5. Accordingly, the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Alandur, Chennai, is directed to complete the trial in C.C. No.209 of 2019 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months form the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
