made by 4th to 7th respondents in Natham Poramboke land bearing Old Survey No.32/1, New Survey No.159/1 at Marur Village, Veppur Taluka, Cuddalore District and consequently direct the 1st respondent to allot those lands to the needy and deserving people. ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition.

2. In the light of that, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the order of this Court dated 10.10.2023, the petitioner has deposited Rs.50,000/- [Rupees Fifty Thousand] with the Registry and the same be permitted to be withdrawn by the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, graciously submits that out of Rs.50,000/-, the petitioner is ready to donate an amount of Rs.10,000/- [Rupees Ten Thousand] to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority.

5. In the light of the above and the fact that we have not even issued notice to the respondents and also in view of the bona fide shown by the petitioner, we allow the petitioner to withdraw Rs.40,000/- [Rupees Forty Thousand only] from the Registry. The Registry shall remit the amount of R.10,000/- [Rupees Ten Thousand] to the account of the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority. (S.V.G., CJ.) (D.B.C., J.) 15.12.2023 Index :
