The Secretary to Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, Fort St.George, Chennai-9 ..Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1 to 4 respondents to bring the services of the petitioner's husband namely Ravi under regular time scale from the date (19.08.2001) on which he completed 3 years consolidated pay service along with monetary arrears as per the orders of this Court dated 18.06.2012

and the order passed by the 4th respondent by way of G.O (D) No.119 MAWSS dated 08.03.2013 and consequently to direct the 3rd respondent to sanction and pay the Family pension and arrears from the date of death of petitioner's husband within the prescribed time limit without reference to the communication of the 3rd respondent dated 17.03.2015 issued in Na.Ka No. 7207/Phe.O.Sa(2)/2014 with exemplary cost for causing abnormal wilful delay. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to respondents 1 to 4 to bring the services of petitioner's husband namely Ravi under regular time scale from the date (19.08.2001) on which he completed 3 years consolidated pay service along with monetary arrears as per the orders of this Court dated 18.06.2012 and the order passed by 4th respondent by way of G.O (D) No.119 MAWSS dated 08.03.2013 and consequently to direct 3rd respondent to sanction and pay the family pension and arrears from the date of death of petitioner's husband within the prescribed time limit without reference to the communication of 3rd respondent dated 17.03.2015 issued in Na.Ka No.

7207/Phe.O.Sa(2)/2014 with exemplary cost for causing abnormal wilful delay.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for second respondent would submit that the grievance of petitioner stands redressed and would furnish a copy of the instructions.

3. The learned counsel for petitioner, on going through the said instructions, would also agree with the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for second respondent.

4. In that view of the matter, nothing survives for adjudication. Therefore, this writ petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
