ORDER

The present Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order dated 09.09.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.No.31400 of 2016, in and by which, this Court, while disposing of the said Writ Petition in W.P.No.31400 of 2016, the respondent is directed to disburse the aforementioned retiral benefits to the petitioners herein, in twelve equal monthly https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ instalments, in the light of the common judgment passed by this Court in W.A. (MD) Nos. 383 to 457 of 2015 (K.Rajendran & Others Vs. The Tamil Nadu State Transport

Corporation (Madurai) Limited, rep by its Managing Director, Madurai and others), dated 12.06.2015. It is also made clear that the first instalment shall commence from 1.12.2016.

2.Today, when the Contempt Petition is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, submitted that the said order of this Court had been complied with by the respondent. Since the said order of this Court had been complied with by the respondent, nothing further survives for consideration in this Contempt Petition, which is accordingly closed.
