Seeking promotion to the post of Technical Assistant in the existing vacancy in Scheme Works, Salem Corporation, the petitioner made a representation on 25.6.2015.

2. As the representation dated 25.6.2015 has not been disposed of, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer, this Court without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the respondent herein, to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.6.2015, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion with regard to the merits of the claim made by the petitioner.
