O R D E R

Heard Mr.S.R.Shenbagabaabu, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.P.R.Dhilipkumar, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, and with the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to provide electricity connection based on her Application dated 09.10.2015. The petitioner would state that earlier she has been informed that objections have been received by the local Ward Councilor and one Paramasivam from considering the petitioner's Application for grant of electricity connection.

3.If there is no objection, then the authority viz. the second respondent should enquire into the matter and examine as to whether the objection is tenable and if there is no valid objection, then the second respondent has to proceed in accordance with their Regulations. The petitioner has also submitted a representation on 10.11.2015, which is of pending consideration by the respondents.

4.In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2015, enquire into the matter and examine as to whether the objections said to have been given by the Ward Councilor and Paramasivam are justifiable, for which purpose notice shall be issued to the petitioner and the objectors and thereafter proceed in accordance with law. The above direction shall be complied by the second respondent, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
