Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey and demarcate the land in Survey No.133/1D at Door No.1/356A, Neelambur & Post, Sulur Taluk, Coimbatore - 641 062 in which Ryotwari Patta being Patta No.213 has been issued to the father of the petitioner.

Petitioner made a representation dated 03.08.2015 to the public grievance Department / the first respondent, seeking a direction to survey and demarcate the land situated in Survey No.133/1D at Door No.1/356A, Neelambur & Post, Sulur Taluk, Coimbatore. The said representation of the petitioner was referred to the second respondent by the office of the first respondent in Na.Ka.338/15 dated 04.08.2015. The petitioner also made another representation dated 16.11.2015 to the respondents. Though the said representation was acknowledged, there is no further action on the part of the second respondent and hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.Taking note of the pendency of the aforesaid representation dated 16.11.2015, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is hereby directed to pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner as well as the other concerned parties. 4.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
