O R D E R
With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. This writ petition has been filed praying to direct the fourth respondent to consider the representation dated 27/2/2015 for correctio nof "A" Register, after conducting enquiry and survey of the property in Survey Nos.668 and 683, Kayar Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Kanchipuram District.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the aforestated lands were subdivided into several cents, but patta was issued only for certain portion of land. Hence the petitioner had submitted a representation to the first respondent, on 10/3/2014 and the same was forwarded by the first respondent to the third respondent and then from the third respondent to the fourth respondent, directing the fourth respondent to enquire and survey the land. Since the fourth respondent has not taken any action, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition, praying for the relief as stated therein.
4. Without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, the fourth respondent is hereby directed, to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 27/2/2015, and pass an appropriate order, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by affording an opportunity of personal hearing, to the petitioner. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion with regard to the merits of the claim of the petition.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
