PRAYER:

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to implement official memorandum of File No 11013 / 1/2016-Estt.A-III dated 27.02.2020 and cancel the 6th and 7th respondents from the final list which is against the rule No 15 (1) (c) of CCS (Conduct) rules 1964, it should be declared as ineligible in the general body election which is held on 10.07.2024 in the board of Director the Central PWD Employees Co-operative Thrift and Credit Society Ltd, Chennai -6 and consider the representations of the petitioner dated 13.07.2024, 20.07.2024 and 28.08.2024.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the 2nd respondent to implement official memorandum of File No 11013 / 1/2016-Estt.A-III dated 27.02.2020 and to cancel the 6th and 7th 2/5

respondents from the final list which is against the rule No 15 (1) (c) of CCS (Conduct) rules 1964, it should be declared as ineligible in the general body election which is held on 10.07.2024 in the Board of Director the Central PWD Employees Co-operative Thrift and Credit Society Ltd, Chennai -6 and consider the representations of the petitioner dated 13.07.2024, 20.07.2024 and 28.08.2024.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 13.07.2024, 20.07.2024 and 28.08.2024 and, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and respondents 5 to 8 and giving personal opportunity of hearing to them, to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
