ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed for the relief of a mandamus, directing the respondent to conclude Disciplinary Proceedings initiated against the petitioner in Charge Memo No. 8899/ Sa.Pi (Na) 1/ Vi.A- 4 / MTC / 2024 dated 19.02.2025 and give duty to the petitioner at Anna Nagar Depot.

3. Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.

Though a larger prayer has been sought for in this writ Petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice to direct the respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner in Charge Memo No. 8899/ Sa.Pi (Na) 1/ Vi.A- 4 / MTC / 2024 dated 19.02.2025, within a time frame.

Considering the limited scope of the relief now sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the respondent is directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner in Charge Memo No. 8899/ Sa. Pi (Na) 1/ Vi. A- 4 / MTC / 2024 dated 19.02.2025, within a period of 12 weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not made any observation with regard to the merits of the petitioner's claim. No costs.
