PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. prayed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members from the Collection agents and Goondas or any other persons engaged by the respondents 3 to 6 by considering the representation of the petitioner herein dated 04.10.2019.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members from the Collection agents and Goondas or any other persons engaged by the respondents 3 to 6 by considering the representation of the petitioner herein dated 04.10.2019. 2.Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that on receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent issued C.S.R.No.629 of 2019 and the same was closed on 04.10.2019. Therefore, the police protection cannot be granted. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a private complaint in the manner known to law. 3.Considering the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
