A.No.5436 of 2023 and C.S.No.96 of 2021 ABDUL QUDDHOSE.J., As seen from the affidavit of service filed in support of this application, despite best efforts made by the applicant to serve the notice on the second respondent, they have been unable to do so. The earlier notices sent by the applicant have been returned 'unserved'. In such circumstances, this application has been filed, seeking for substituted service by effecting paper publication in "Gulf Today" Newspaper, which has wide circulation in Sharjah, UAE.

2. After giving due consideration to the contents of the affidavit filed in support of this application, this Court is inclined to order for substituted service for service in A.No.5436 of 2023 in C.S.No.96 of 2021. Accordingly, this Court directs the applicant / plaintiff to effect substituted service on the second respondent / second defendant by effecting paper publication in "Gulf Today" Newspaper, which has wide circulation in Sharjah, UAE for the next date of hearing.
