This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus forbearing the third respondent from taking further action pursuant to the show cause notice issued in Na.Ka.6892/2022/Ko-2 dated 05.09.2024 till the disposal of the representation dated 18.09.2024 by the first respondent for considering the age relaxation of the petitioner for continuing in the post of "Cook".

2.When this writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that final order has been passed by the District Collector, Dharmapuri, through proceedings dated 26.09.2024, canceling the appointment of the petitioner in the post of Cook. The copy of the order was also placed before this Court.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the order has not been communicated to the petitioner till now.

4.In the light of the above development, the relief as sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings of the District Collector, dated 26.09.2024, if so advised and proceed further in accordance with law.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
