Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose the appeal of the petitioner dated 20.08.2022 filed against the order of rejection passed by the 2nd respondent in O.Mu.2497/2021/A2 dated 25.05.2021 and to issue community certificate to the petitioner and his son C.Karthik that they belong to Kurichchan (ST) Community. 1/4

The prayer in the writ petition is as follows:- To direct the 1st respondent to dispose the appeal of the petitioner dated 20.08.2022 filed against the order of rejection passed by the 2nd respondent in O.Mu.2497/2021/A2 dated 25.05.2021 and to issue community certificate to the petitioner and his son C.Karthik that they belong to Kurichchan (ST) Community.

2. Mrs.C.Sangamithirai, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

Considering the grievance of the petitioner and the fact that the community certificate is an essential requirement, there will be a direction to the appellate Authority viz., District Collector, Krishnagiri to dispose of the appeal pending before him within a period of twelve (12) weeks from 2/4
