By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.
2. The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd Respondents to expeditiously consider and act upon the Intimation Letter dated 14.07.2025 issued by the Petitioner.
3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.
4. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner already sent a representation on 14.07.2025 as per the Rule 9 of the Tamil Nadu Private Colleges (Regulation) Rules as to the nomination of the Secretary of the College Committee and the said representation is pending before the 2nd respondent.
5. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that they will consider the petitioner's representation according to it's own merits and in accordance with law, 2/4
within a reasonable time.
6. In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2025 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
