O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police, Arakkonam Taluk Police Station, Ranipet, Tamil Nadu (the respondent herein) to register the FIR in CSR No.491 of 2021 and to file a final report on completion of investigation before the concerned jurisdictional Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner who is a senior citizen had given a complaint against one Sivanandam and others on the allegation that the said persons had assaulted her; the complaint has been given on 12.06.2021 and on which, CSR Number has been assigned in CSR No.491 of 2021; the grievance of the petitioner is that despite she has given all the medical records for taking treatment for the injuries suffered by her in the occurrence; but no fruitful action has been taken so far.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the opposite party has also given a counter complaint and both the complaints have been enquired together and closed on 21.06.2021. 2/4

5. If the petitioner is not satisfied with the manner in which the enquiry was conducted, the rightful course open to the petitioner is to invoke Section 156(3) or Section 200 Cr.P.C and file an appropriate proceedings before the appropriate forum.

6. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
