Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Certitorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the third respondent in O.Mu.No.4706/Aa4/2021 dated 20.12.2021 and to quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to pass orders in rectification of pay anomaly and for stepping up of pay of the petitioner in the post of P.G. Assistant on par with junior Tmt. M. Thirumagal with consequential fixation of pay in the post of Headmaster along with payment of revised retirement benefits and pensionary benefits, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the third respondent dated 20.12.2021, whereby the request made by the petitioner to rectify the pay anomaly on par with his junior was rejected. It is now stated that the junior's salary, which formed the basis of the petitioner's claim, has also been revised downward. Hence, the petitioner cannot now seek pay anomaly on par with his junior.

The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had earlier sought parity with his junior only to the extent of

Rs.333/-, which was subsequently directed to be refunded. Therefore, the petitioner now seeks liberty to submit a fresh representation for consideration of his claim regarding pay anomaly on par with his junior. 3.

In view of the above, the petitioner is granted liberty to submit a fresh representation to the fourth respondent. The fourth respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation, taking into account the subsequent proceedings issued in favour of the petitioner's junior, viz., one Tmt. M. Thirumagal, as per the order dated 29.04.2025, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of the petitioner's representation. 4.

With the above observations and directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
