Mohammed Sathik, Government Advocate O RDER This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioners in the cadre post of Forest Watchers by giving the benefit of relaxation of height rule with effect from the date of their juniors appointment in the post of Forest Watchers on 24.01.1995 based on the petitioners' representations dated 27.11.2021.
2. Heard Ms.K.Jenitha, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.S.J.Mohammed Sathik, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. By consent of both the parties, the main writ petition has been taken up for final disposal.
4. The petitioners also relies upon the order passed by this Court in WP No.9708 of 2014 dated 12.09.2014, W.A.No.1703 of 2014 dated 2/5

It is for the respondents to consider the same and decide as to whether the orders/Government Orders relied upon by the petitioners are applicable to the case of the petitioners or not.
5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioners representations are considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' representations dated 27.11.2021, seeking for their appointment in the cadre post of Forest Watchers by giving the benefit of relaxation of height rule with effect from the date of their juniors appointment in the post of Forest Watchers on 24.01.1995 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
