This Writ Petition has been filed directing the 1st respondent to give one day permission to conduct hunger strike before the Collector office, 1/4
Chengalpattu by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.09.2022.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented that the date on which the petitioner sought permission to observe a fasting protest, has already been expired. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh representation and on receipt of the same, the respondent Police shall consider it and pass orders in accordance with law.
4. With the above observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
