O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to give police protection to the petitioner to measure and fence the property comprised in S.No.456/2A, bearing Patta No.1865 measuring an extent of 0 Acre 25 Cents at Edanganasalai Village, Sankari Taluk, Salem District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.10.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a dealer of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and he was allowed to start a Petrol Bunk in the demised premises. Since some named persons causing troubles for the petitioner to establish his retail outlet, he has given a representation to the second respondent police seeking protection and so far, no action has been taken. He further submitted that the petitioner has also filed a Civil Suit in this regard in O.S.No.85 of 2022 and got an order of temporary injunction in I.A.No.2 of 2022.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the representation given by the petitioner has been taken up for enquiry and will be dealt with in accordance with the law.

4. Since the petitioner had obtained an order of temporary injunction in 2/4

his favour, the second respondent police to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 29.10.2022 and do the needful in accordance with law.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 11.11.2022 kmi To
