ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to issue PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) in favour of the petitioner within a time frame as this Court may fix.

2. Pending this Writ Petition, a case in C.C.No.3333 of 2024 was registered in Xth Metropolitan Magistrate, VI Metropolitan Magistrate (in-charge), Egmore, Chennai and the Court below observed as follows, by order dated 14.12.2024 in the above said C.C.No.3333 of 2024 :

"Accused present. Copies furnished. Questioned and admit the offence u/s 279, 338 of IPC, 196 of MV Act. Petition for guilty memo and waive petition allowed. Fine imposed Rs.1,000/- for u/s 279 of IPC and Rs.1,000/- for u/s 338 of IPC. Rs.1,000/- for u/s 196 of MV Act. Total fine Rs.3,000/- In default one week simple imprisonment."

3. Since the said C.C.No.3333 of 2024 itself was disposed of by the Court below on 14.12.2024, as extracted above, the prayer in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
