O R D E R

The present Contempt Petition has been filed by petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.39899 of 2016 dated 15.11.2016, wherein this Court directed the respondent to disburse the retiral benefits to the petitioner herein, in twelve equal monthly instalments.

2. Learned counsel for respondent submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with and the entire retiral benefits with interest have been disbursed to petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for petitioner submitted that there is difference in payment of retiral benefits and interest amount and that respondent has to pay the said amount.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court is of the opinion that pursuant to the directions of this Court, respondent has disbursed the retiral benefits to petitioners. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in the Contempt Petition.

Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed. However, if petitioner has any grievance with regard to disbursement of retiral benefits, he is at liberty to submit a representation to the respondent.
