The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to provide electricity service connection to the petitioner patta land situated in S.No.373/2C at Karivelpattu Village, Vadathinnalur Post, Thiruvannamalai District by considering the application for electricity service connection proposal No.FP/TN/Trans/152427/2022 dated 17.02.2022 pending on the file of the first respondent. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide electricity service connection to the petitioner patta land situated in S.No.373/2C at Karivelpattu Village, Vadathinnalur Post, Thiruvannamalai District by considering the application for 2/6

electricity service connection proposal No.FP/TN/Trans/152427/2022 dated 17.02.2022 pending on the file of the first respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and appropriate order will be passed by the 7th respondent within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the 3/6

respondents to consider the petitioner's application and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
