This Writ Petition is filed challenging the Ombudsman award, directing the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.49,000/- towards maturity sum assured as per the policy of the 1st respondent. 2.Learned counsel for the petitioner now submits that the Bombay Office has assured to make the balance amount of Rs.25,280/- (Rs.49,000/- - Rs.23,720/-) within a week's time. He has also placed an email correspondence to that effect.
3.Such view of the matter, the petitioner is hereby directed to pay the balance amount of Rs.25,280/- within a period of two (2) weeks to the 2nd respondent. As the Insurance Company itself has admitted to pay the balance amount as per the Ombudsman award, the question of challenge does not arise at all.

4.This Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
