Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents 2 to 4 to provide police protection to the petitioners' water plant unit viz., ''V D S Aqua Minerva Product'' at S.No.48/16, 48/19 and 48/21 of Bagavathi Amman Koil Street, Devarayapuram Village, Senthamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District based on the complaint made by the petitioners dated 12.08.2024.

O R D E R
This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct respondents 2 to 4 to provide police protection to the petitioners' water plant unit viz., ''V D S Aqua Minerva Product'' at S.No.48/16, 48/19 and 48/21 of Bagavathi Amman Koil Street, Devarayapuram Village, Senthamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District, based on the complaint dated 12.08.2024 made by the petitioners. 2/5
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 20.01.2025, this Court directed the Superintendent of Police, Namakkal District to verify as to whether the private respondents are disturbing the petitioners in their business place and file a report.
3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents-Police submitted that as per the directions of this Court dated 20.01.2025, the Superintendent of Police, Nammakkal District filed a report dated 25.01.2025, wherein it has been stated that the petitioners are not facing any physical disturbance or threats from any third party, including respondents 5 to 11 herein. In the event of any such disturbances, police protection will be provided upon receipt of a proper petition.
4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
