PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. prayed to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection in the premises of Shekinah Blessing Centre, at Door No.1/215-2, Pudhu Chakkarapalayam Pazhiyakottai Village, Nathakandiyur, Kangeyam Taluk, Thiruppur District, at the required time at the cost and expenses of the petitioner. ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection in the premises of Shekinah Blessing Centre, at Door No.1/215-2, Pudhu Chakkarapalayam Pazhiyakottai Village, Nathakandiyur, Kangeyam Taluk, Thiruppur District, at the required time at the cost and expenses of the petitioner.

2. This petitioner conducted a prayer meeting in the above said premises, while so, some persons caused disturbance and he approached the concerned police, seeking police protection and since his request was not considered, he approached this Court by way of this petition.

3.Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the petitioner filed a writ petition in W.P.No.25287 of 2019 dated 21.11.2019 for seeking permission to conduct the prayer meeting in the said premises and the writ petition was dismissed by this Court by an order dated 21.11.2019 and the permission was not granted to the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner also vacated the said premises. As such, the police protection does not arise.

4.Considering the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is devoid of merits and the same is dismissed.
