The petitioner herein, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(C) and 1/4

4(1-A)(ii) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition (Amendment) Act in Crime No73 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner herein is an wanted accused in connection with seizure of 40 litres of ID Arrack.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner's father was arrayed as A1 in the case and he was secured by the respondent police. He further submitted that lab report is also awaited. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioners.

4. Considering the said fact, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
