W.P.Nos.29851 and 29904 of 2019 and W.M.P.Nos.29756, 29757, 29808 & 29810 of 2019 R.SUBBIAH , J., AND R.PONGIAPPAN, J., [Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J.] This Court, by an order dated 21.10.2019 directed the District Collector, Tiruvallur District/second respondent to file a Status Report, as to the removal of all the encroachments in Survey No.582/2 in Ambattur Taluk and Village, Tiruvallur District, as well as in respect of the other lands in the very same Village/place, which are classified as water bodies, with supporting documents and photographs and posted these matters on 20.11.2019 to file a Status Report.

2. On 20.11.2019, when these matters were taken up for hearing, further time was given to the District Collector to file Status Report and posted the same on 04.12.2019. From 04.12.2019 onwards, these matters were adjourned on various dates.

3. Today, when these matters are taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that, the second respondent has already issued notice to the encroachers under Form-III of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 and the entire process will be completed within a period of six weeks. 1/3

4. In view of the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, Registry is directed to post these matters on 18.02.2020.
