With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. Heard Mr.C.Veeraraghavan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Naarayanan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. This writ petition has been filed praying to direct the second respondent to consider the representation dated 30/10/2015, sent by the petitioner and change the revenue https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

records in the name of the petitioners within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners had purchased the property, from one Palani gounder and his son and daughter, situated in S.F.No.96/1, to an extent of 083.5 hectare and 1.02 acres, situated in Varadhanur Village, in Kinathukadavu Taluk, Coimbatore District. After the said purchase, the petitioner had made an application along with the necessary documents, to the second respondent, to change the name in the patta. In view of the inaction on the part of the second respondent, the petitioner had again made a representation, dated 30/10/2015. Since the second respondent has not taken any action, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition, praying for the relief as stated therein.

Without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, the second respondent is hereby directed, to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 30/10/2015, and pass an appropriate order, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, as well as to all the necessary parties concerned. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion with regard to the merits of the claim of the petition.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
