ORDER

The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking a direction to the respondent to pay the retirement benefits including the amount accumulated in the Contributory Pension Scheme, Earned Leave and other terminal benefits etc. along with the interest at the rate of not less than 12% per annum payable from the date of retirement i.e. 13.11.2012 to till the payment to be made to her, within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.The petitioner having joined the service on 03.08.2006 as Software Developer in the respondent university, due to her personal inconvenience, she tendered her resignation on 10.08.2012. However, her resignation was also accepted by the respondent, who in turn issued a letter dated 05.10.2012, relieving her from duties with effect from 13.11.2012, after completion of three months notice period. Though she was relieved from service with effect from 13.11.2012, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent failed to pay terminal benefits. Therefore, she made representations on 22.01.2013 and 10.03.2013 for the payment of terminal benefits. Since the respondent has not come forward to settle the same, she is before this Court.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent. 4.Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 22.01.2013 and 10.03.2013 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
