ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register FIR on the complaint of the petitioner, dated 22.06.2022.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a Post Graduate and was also a senate Member of Bharathidasan University. He is an active person in Politics and a Member of a major political party and held several posts. The petitioner was the President of Poolambadi Primary Agriculture Cooperative Bank for five years. He further submitted that the petitioner raised voices for voiceless people and also raised voices against misdeeds committed to the society by certain people. Aggrieved against the action of the petitioner, one Datho Pragadeesh Kumar through one Sudhalakshmi lodged complaints against the petitioner with false allegation and as a result of that the petitioner was arrested and detained under Goondas Act.
Later, the Advisory Board finding false cases are foisted against the petitioner, had quashed the proceedings and the petitioner was set free. The petitioner is facing criminal cases for the sole reason that he was not made eligible to contest panchayat election. The said Datho Pragadeesh Kumar and Sudhalakshmi are acting in tandem to deprive the petitioner in participating the local body elections. Putting all these facts, the petitioner sent a complaint, dated 22.06.2022 to the respondents, but no action taken sofar. Hence, the above petition. Page No.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that it is the admission of the petitioner that the petitioner has been arrested and detained under Goondas Act. The petitioner to his credit has got four cases in Crime Nos.68 of 2018, 1493 of 2021, 27 of 2022 & 91 of 2023. He further submitted that one case came to be registered against him for the reason that he threatened the witnesses in the above said crime numbers. The petitioner is the notorious person. The learned counsel for the petitioner rebutted the same stating that the proceedings initiated under the Goondas Act has been quashed by the Advisory Board and in one of the cases, he got acquittal. With regard to other cases, the petitioner shall defend the same in Court of Law and he is confident that he would be set free since all the cases are foisted against him.
4.Considering the submissions and on perusal of the materials, it is seen that the petitioner is mainly aggrieved against the complaints lodged by Datho Pragadeesh Kumar and Sudhalakshmi. It is not in dispute that on their complaints, the above crime numbers have been registered. Now it is for the petitioner to come out from the cases registered against him Page No.3 of 5
after the investigation is completed in the manner known to law. 5.In view of the above, this Court does not find any merits for consideration in this Criminal Original Petition.
