ORDER

This civil miscellaneous petition has been filed to condone the delay of 479 days in filing the above appeal.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent has filed counter affidavit.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

4. Considering the submissions and the reasons stated in the affidavit, this Court is of the view that the delay may be condoned on payment of costs, and the matter may be argued on merits.

5. Accordingly, the delay is condoned on payment of costs of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) by the petitioner to the Tamilnadu Legal Aid Services Authority, Chennai, on or before 03.02.2025.

6. On payment of costs, the Registry is directed to number the appeal and post it "for admission" on 04.02.2025, if the same is otherwise in order.

7. If the costs is not paid on or before 03.02.2025, this C.M.P. stands dismissed without further reference to this Court.
