No.50082/SCI/1/2008/3 which was served on the petitioner vide communication dated 20.05.2014 by the 3rd respondent herein, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner M.Parvathy, who suffered punishment of stoppage of increment for two years with cumulative effect by order dated 25.01.2014, passed by the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services/the second respondent herein, has preferred a Statutory Appeal dated 25.07.2014 before the Secretary to Government, Health and Family Welfare Department/the first respondent herein. As it is not disposed of, the petitioner has come forward to this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that as the petitioner has suffered an order of punishment of stoppage of increment dated 25.01.2014, the appeal filed against the said order, requires to be disposed of in accordance with law.

3.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents sought eight weeks time to dispose of the appeal. 4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents. 5.Considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the pending appeal dated 25.07.2014 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
