Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records in connection with the order of Detention passed by the second respondent 17.09.2019 in BCDFGISSSV No.602 of 2019 against the petitioner son Mr.John @ Johnson male aged about 25 years son of Basker, who is confined at Central Prison Puzhal, Chennai and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before the court and set him at liberty. O R D E R

(Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH,J.) Petitioner is the mother of the detenu, namely, John @ Johnson, S/o.Basker, who has been branded as "Goonda" under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of the second respondent passed in Memo No.602/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 17.09.2019. 2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed by the second respondent as against the son of the petitioner dated 17.09.2019 has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.4924, dated 29.11.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3.In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed, as it has become infructuous.
