This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 from any way evicting all the petitioner Mettur Textile Mills Quarters Residential Welfare Society residents and also to direct the respondents 5 and 6 with regard to consider the representation dated 31.07.2017 and to restore the amenities to give water connection and E.B. connection immediately as fixed by this Hon'ble Court till the petitioner's vacating the premises within 3 months from the order dated 07.07.2017 as per the order of the SLP.No.9188/2017 on the file of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.

2. When this matter originally came up for hearing on two occasions i.e., on 12.11.2021 and 08.12.2021, there is no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, this Court has directed the matter to be listed on 10.12.2021 under the caption "for dismissal". Even today, when the matter is called, none appeared for the petitioner. Thus, it shows that the petitioner is not interested to prosecute the case any further. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
